Do NB theorys and predictions ever come true.?

I find that most are beyond Kishimoto's mindset and more suitable for fanfics. There are some amazing Naruto stories out there! Sometimes I get more involved in them than the manga.

Most people overanalyze the hell out of this manga and their theories don't come true. A lot do come true though but mainly the small ones

I try to think as kishi would when i predict, it is the best and only way to predict, other theories get lucky.

predicting through mythologies is the easy way, but it works because its a big part of kishis mindset

I think it's because manga and fanfics are completely different. One is written like a novel, the other explained in images. Detail lacks. I've read some amazing theories and predictions and thought that it would be incredible if it happened in the manga, but it was too deep and lacked the flow of Kishimoto's work.

I think the key to getting a prediction right is following the canon story, put yourself in Kishimoto's shoes and see it how he does, look at his past foreshadowing and what it led up to, then you might surprise yourself.

So i' see quite a lot of these everyday but did they ever turn out to be reality?

yes some of the predictions and theories has been true examples

1. Tobi is Obito
2. Nagato is Uzumaki
3. Naruto is getting Bijuu sage mode
4. Kaguya is the ghost of shiki fuin ~ will be confirmed soon..
5. Mystery Man is Kabuto

Good point,which is probaly why all the theories regarding Obito being Tobi,Naruto meeting the Sage etc; came true.Since that is something Kishi would've done.

Predictions like, BSM, sakura byakugo, sasuke PS, sage's introduction, all came to past...other's that seem very interesting and likely, remained fanfic.....most prediction and theory on power-ups usually come true, thats what i know

It was planned for a long time and hinted at through many chapters. People patient enough to go back and look through them would see it. I did it once and my jaw actually dropped when I realized how it clicked together like a puzzle piece.

I do find one thing interesting though, when Hashirama fought Madara and won, in a parallel fight between Naruto and Sasuke in VOTE, Sasuke won and stood in Hashirama's place. I still wonder if that is a hint at Sasuke as Hokage and when you think about it, it makes his announcement less shocking.

Yeah I noticed the parrallel as well.It was raining after both fights,Madara/Naruto were unconcious,and Sasuke,Hashirama knelt down besides them after feeling pain from their injuries.

Kishi really loves his parrallels.

Veritas and Derp Obito have had a few predictions come true in the past. They make many predictions on various things. I think Tebow has had a theory come true before. These users makes the best predictions and theories from what I've seen around here but they've been wrong on a couple occasions too. Nothing wrong with that though, no one is Kishi here.

There are some damned good stories out there.

That said - I think a lot of people don't look deep enough into the stories to understand the impetus for Kishimoto's design and decisions.

Could just be me, though. What I consider 'shallow' - most people think is over-analyzing. What I consider so obvious as to not be worth stating is 'shallow.' My concept of 'in depth' analysis just makes people's heads explode.

Where a lot of people go wrong in their analysis is that they forget this is a story told by an author who has control of the story. It is not a retelling of actual events that is going to flow according to a physical logic (Kishimoto's failing, there - suspension of disbelief imploded a long time ago).

Others just spout off random ideas: "Naruto/Sasuke get rinnegan!" While they certainly are looking at things as if they were an author - they fail to consider whether or not the author of the series would make such a thing happen.

Figuring out which direction the plot is going to take has as much to do with the author as it does with what he's written/drawn.

There was one thread that hit "Naruto meeting the Sage" spot on (explanations, proof, and all).

Other than that, 99.9% of them don't even remotely come true. Then there's the .1%, like the theory I mentioned below, that are right.
