I'm trying to make a gif image my avatar but its not working (no i'm not messing it up, i have had gif images on other sites before etc)

Do i need premium or something?

I've seen other people use gif images without premium, but do i need a certain post count or something?

I thought it was somewhere in the 400 kb area but i can check. its literally like 15 frames though :/ its just the guy i have up there now but with a flowing aura for like a 1 second looped

It must be 150x200 and under 500 KB. So no, premium is not necessary.

Are you uploading the gif directly from your computer? What I would do is upload your gif to an image hosting site like

You must be registered for see links

and then use the image URL for your avatar.
