Do characters in Naruto eat, sleep, and pee/poop?

Sorry if this is a weird question, but I've always been wondering this. Ever since I have been watching Naruto (or any other anime/show) this question has been haunting me. Of course they do (in secret), except they don't show it to us. I really want to see the characters do this (except pee/poop) cause that's just nasty af. However, isn't it odd that the developers of Naruto don't show the characters eating or resting? I mean, there is a freaking war going on! How can the characters continue to fight without eating or resting? Unless they have unlimited chakra reserves like the edo Madara hack, which is very unlikely to have occured. I just don't understand this; how the heck are they pulling this off? The only time I've seen them eat was back when Naruto and Iruka sensei ate ramen together or when Tobi ate that stick of dango with Deidara. Whereas, the only time I saw them sleep was in the Uchiha clan massacre (that's all I can think of at the moment). To wrap things up, I want to know how they are doing this. If not, then I don't know what to say. Tell me how you think this is possible or explain other things I haven't mentioned. Thanks in advance!
