I just watch the movie again and sometimes i get a feeling like the movie rry to put out a point that boruto didn't really train or really try and tell sasuke showed up. Im only going off of what naruto had said when he said boruto always look new and then at the end of the movie when he see him he tell sasuke he was right about him, Then sarada said boruto dont usually go that far and i get the feeling she watched him before.

I would like to hear what people think about this to me he was lazy and just wanted to play games to sasuke came.

Because of his natural born talent he didn't feel like he needed to train. This same talent made him the Sasuke of his generation which inflated his ego, until the events of the movie. He now has a new perspective on what it means to be a shinobi and a new dream and in order to reach Sasuke's level, rival his dad, and protect Sarada when she becomes the 8th or 9th Hokage he needs to train.

Yes he did train. He doesn't train as much as he should but he does. His skill did not come out of thin air. Even if Boruto is talented he has to learn how to be a ninja and fight.
