Hashirama doesn't count. He's Ashura's incarnation ie the younger som of the Sage himself. Hashirama was always destined to become immensely powerful. Naruto has surpassed him though.

Regardless that saying doesn't apply in every situation is what I'm saying and clearly not when hiruzen was a teen and tobirama was a grown adult

They themselves attacked Tobirama and the 2nd Raikage during a peace treaty, and Tobirama was the only one said to have survived (particularly since they were aware of who the 3rd Raikage was). KinGin + 18 other elite bounty hunters threatened to take out Tobirama's whole group.

- Doesn't matter what they were, they were still mere Jounin. Kin and Gin were beaten fairly easily even when they were using 9 Tails chakra. Not sure what's so special about them. And you have no proof they were even there - nothing but an assumption.

You're comparing Old fragile Ohnoki to Mu? You don't know what Ohnoki was like in his prime. Not sure why you mentioned Izuna, don't even know any of his abilities. Tobirama has been surpassed, Ay surpassed his father in speed.

Hashirama is not stronger due to being in war, he's the freaking Sage of six paths sons reincarnate. Same goes for Madara, he's the eldest son. They were destined to be beyond powerful. But kishi has always put heavy emphasis on the next generation surpassing the previous, Madara and Hashirama are just special cases.
