Do all tailed beast have 7+ transformations?

Shukaku said kyuubi has 7 does that explain Narutos new chakra and Bijuu modes? And what are the 7 transformations? Is it things like chakra cloak, v2 mode, bm, ect? He made it seem like it's Juubi transformations

it's just about japanese methology,the kitsune(a nine tailed fox) can transform 7 times,and the tanuki(rakoon) can transform 8 times.
shukaku is just trying to say he won't lose to kurama,that's it.
