Do a few people from Kakashi's generation know that he killed Rin?

When Obito said that he let Rin die, Gai seemed pretty surprised about the situation, so I'm just wondering do you think members from Kakashi's generation or anyone else from Konoha know that he killed Rin apart from Minato?

there r shinobi who slaughter their own kin 4 peace.
there r shinobi who sacrifice their own lyf 2 stop an invasion.
so even if kakashi killed rin he would just gav his reasons 2 kill her and ask 4 pardon from hokage.
