Anyone else think it could just be Sasuke's? Karin had an ever so slight obsession with him in the past and it'd make sense that she kept a sample. Idc either way honestly, but that's just my theory.

Edit: Another theory is the fact that Sasuke consumed large amounts of her chakra in the past to heal himself. However that's quite a stretch. I also didn't realize it was a hair Suigetsu used so the whole DNA mixup thing is probably incorrect.

Dude honestly at this point this spin off is so fast paced and so deep that I'm just going to believe what I see and let anything else surprise me. As of right now we should all accept Karin is the mother as a manga fact. Sasuke has also shown signs of it in previous chapters. And also just let the story twist and turn and maybe if Sarada is Sakura's then it'll be a nice twist. I myself am totally salty Sakura isn't the biological mother

I think the DNA used was Sarada's umbilical cord. Suigetsu said he assumed it was from Karin's birth. I think that Sarada is an experiment. Karin being alive pretty much shoots down the fact that she actually birthed Sarada in the traditional sense. No way would Karin let anyone else raise her kid especially Sakura. Sakura's words made it pretty obvious that her DNA is not in Sarada, so no way is she the biological mother. So the only thing that would make any sense at this point is that Sarada is an experiment, probably a twisted gift to Sasuke.
