yeah some uhm infinity is a concept....if you want to call it a number...call it imaginary because that's what it is....

your grammar sucks boy. i've never mentioned infinity being a real number. infinity is a number, but it is an hyper real number.
and i'm sorry but you have taken a source from an article written to pre schoolers. infinity is a number just like sqrt -2. maybe you just haven't done with gym yet?

Infinity is an invaluable abstract concept in mathematics, physics, and philosophy. Invaluable is contrasting to real. Real numbers are those that we can measure and observe. Think 4 or over 9000. The main idea focuses on quantity. If you have at least taken primary math, you'd know that numbers only have importance relative to other numbers. Infinity, however, ruins all number comparisons. Amounts are sizes and distances and tallies -- and they are represented by numbers.

"Compared to infinity, every other number is nothing. Infinity should not exist in the world we see because it would rewrite the rules for numbers: we would have infinity, and every other number would be 0 by comparison."

Can we measure infinity in our universe?

I'll edit this post with sources. This is just a warm up.

allow me to display my opinion upon the matter by disputing in an interrogative fashion.
how old are you?

anyway.

if you think maths is only a concrete thing, that it's not about abstraction, like i previously said, you're not familiar with algebra I yet.

one apple plus one apple are two apples. but what is the square root of two apples? you can't measure that just like you can't measure the infinity of the universe.

i'd be pleased to keep on beating off all of your arguments, but unfortunately, i gotta go sleep. why don't you ask your teacher about the subject? tomorrow we can talk. bye bye

The square root of two is a real number and can be measured.

Giving up so soon? I was just about to finish my 2nd paragraph and start my third. Whatever. Seriously, if you act in such derogatory demeanor towards people, I pity you.
Also Snape Uchiha is correct. See above post ^.

Lets see if you are right, I'll use my own ultimate philosophy I call it the circle of Three (0, 1 Infinity)

0 = 1/Infinity

1 = Infinity x (0) "Non-existence = Existence "two sides of the same coin"

Infinity = 1/0 + - 0/1

You are half right indeed.

Infinity is the opposite of 0, however everything in this universe has a positive and a negative and therefore a Neutral, Middlepoint, Combination which is the Addition and Substraction, as well as Division and Multiplication of two opposite sides; In Eample - Light and Dark "Gray point", Positive and Negative "Neutral", electrons and protons "neutrons" etc... Just as 0 x Infinity = 1 "Not Zero" with anything but infinity the answer is Zero but then again, any number compared to infinity is 0

that means that the closer the denominator is to 0, the closer the result is to infinity.

how can you use that however? beats me.

edit: maybe a solution to that is to say that there is no such thing as zero in the universe. not that there is no such thing as infinity. indeed there is nothing in the universe that truly has 0 as a value. every 0 is an approxiamtion of very very very small numbers. or cancelation of positive and negative numbers of the same length. but can you really give me an example where the value is completly flat out exacly 0?

OT: infinity = (1 + 1 infinite times) (5+5 infinite times) (10.000000 + 888888888 and above infinite times) so obviously the other Number/Values dont make a difference to Infinity (1-2-3-4 -1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 + still has the same effect as 1 in the run of infinity)

that means 1 matters

0 is unique and the opposite of infinity

and then there is infinity itself (my theories are always absolute)

that means that the closer the denominator is to 0, the closer the result is to infinity.

how can you use that however? beats me.

No there is such a thing as Zero, however Zero by itself makes no difference, inorder for you to understand the answer here, you need to understand the ultimate question "what is nothingness, what is existence, and how did they come to be)

believe it or not, I have the answer, it took me a lifetime but I'm certain of it and it was confirmed not so long ago

where? give me one instnace where the value of something is zero. absolute zero is the coldest tempature and is 273.15 celsius, in that tempature atoms stop vibrating and are at hold. but that tempature is unreachable which means that even if you are 0.01% from absolute zero, atoms still vibrate.

magnets are always magnetic even if they have 0 attraction/repulsion. their atoms have different polarization that cancel each other out and result in zero, but no atom has 0 magnetism.

there is no such thing as zero force of gravity, the farther you are from another object the lower it's gravitatonal pull, but it's never zero no matter how far away that object is.

and there is no such thing as zero energy because an object with zero energy wouldn't be anything, you can't convert zero energy to a larger then 0 energy so that object won't do anything and will virtually won't exist.

the more i think about it, the more it seems to be that if we exclude the possibility of 0 from phyiscal values in the universe the more stable that universe is.

all our physical units are relative to something that we have, and are definitely not absolute. so deriving results based purely on physical units and their properties will never be absolute.

i could also argue that 0C is possible. you say 0 isn't possible in one unit, i say it is in another.

e: about that energy thing: im gonna create a new unit, Dicks, where 0 dicks = 69 Joules.

so there, you have zero energy in the form of 0Dicks

how can i put it, simply said...that is because we live in a "non zero universe" I'll explain in short if "non existence/absolute nothingness = Zero then the universe = 1 or 0,000000000000000000000001 "heavy on the zeros" the biggest problem humanity have is how can one go from 0 to 1 , naturally for that to happen one must go from zero to 0,0000000000000000000000000000000001 etc.., and after that its only a matter of multiplication the problem is 0-0,01

same as taking a step, when you take a simple step, you do the impossible - you cross from zero distance to 1-2-3-4-etc... that means (infinite 0,0001's of distance) or is it? I have the answer but I will not go into it it will take a year to explain, anyway...

a video is a number of frames 0,001's that create movement/life and the more frames the better, however in the physical world the problem is creating that first frame when you have Zero to deal with no? like I said I will not explain but I will go to my point

you say nothing has a value of Zero in the physical universe, that is because zero would mean the non-existence of that thing, simply put true nothingness cannot exist in the world of something - very well, I'll tell you the basis of my theory, I believe there is a negative Verse aside from our Positive Verse! which is an exact opposite of ours in every way. I recently found out "there already exists such theories, not surprising" however I assure my theory trumps all, every physicist ive shown have been geniuinly impressed, anyway anyway..

I believe values Below Zero "true minus" exists in that Verse, for instance everything that exists in this universe has a negative value in that Verse - however this is where my theory begins because the main subject is Absolute Nonexistence/Zero itself

my point is, youre right, there doesnt seem to be any true zero's in the physical world, however that doesnt mean the term or the value itself does not exist, physically, or should I say "Anti Physically" it exists or rather "doesnt exist lol" (cuz zero = non existence) outside our physical world, and it exists in non-universal matters and temporal "sorry my english is not so great hope u know what i mean", for instance i have zero ferrari's, zero jet planes, zero horns or tails "LOL LOL sorry for the silly examples, but its true" as i said non universally and temporal, hypothetically and also numerial zero is possible

but a physical value cannot reach zero (without all values related to it doing the same) meaning in order for energy to reach zero, it would have to become non existent, in other word not in the physical world, thereby irrelevant.

there are absolute values in the world, and all of them are unreachable. the speed of light for example is the highest speed possible, and no one managed to get something to move at the speed of light (except light ofcourse).

absolute zero is the same, -273.15 celsius is the smallest possible tempature in existnce and they proved that because the colder something is the more it shrinks, so if something has the tempature of absolute zero it shrinks to zero size and that ofcrouse is not possible. 0 kelvin is the absolute zero which is -273.15c.

and if you can go below 0 dicks, that is to -1 dicks or -100 dicks, then 0 dicks isn't really zero, but phyiscly a value that is higher then 0. 0 dicks is not nothing, it is something and you can go below it. so 0 dicks is > 0 energy when relative to no energy whatsoever.

how can i put it, simply said...that is because we live in a "non zero universe" I'll explain in short if "non existence/absolute nothingness = Zero then the universe = 1 or 0,000000000000000000000001 "heavy on the zeros" the biggest problem humanity have is how can one go from 0 to 1 , naturally for that to happen one must go from zero to 0,0000000000000000000000000000000001 etc.., and after that its only a matter of multiplication the problem is 0-0,01

oh boy, i hope you got some math behind that to back that theory up. as i said before theories need two things, to predict the outcome of an experiment and never be wrong even a single instance. you will get all the recognition in the world if that theory holds to these two things.

anyway, there is a paradox in einstein's relativity concerning black holes. if the distance between an object and the center of a black hole is 0, then the gravitational pull of that black hole is infinity which means it gets stuck inside there, also time is related to gravity so time also becomes 0 and stops.

when they showed that to einstein, he said "well sure, but that's why black holes don't exist in the universe". he was wrong ofcourse and black holes are everywhere. but still if you exclude 0 from black holes they work perfectly with relativity.

um there were neutrinos that were 64 ****ing nanoseconds faster than light, man.

also um yea if i make another unit of temperature (lets says shits) where 0 shits = -273.3K then now 0 shits is possible man.

also yea it does. 0 dicks = 68 joules. 0 dicks is a measure of energy, so kinda like 0 degree c

wrong. the sum of all positive integers is -1/12, not infinity.

the neutrions moving faster then light was a problem in the measuring device. the team that originaly published this pulled back and published new results after fixing the problem and the neutrions were not faster then light, also another team did the same measurments and also showed that neutrions were not faster.

so no, you can't go faster then the speed of light,

and there is no such value as -273.3 kelvin because at 0 kelvin the size of a gas cloud is 0, so at -273.3k the size of a gas cloud is negative. do you understand? you can't go below 0 kelving because objects start to have negative sizes.

in other words, there is no tempature in existence that you can measure which is 0 shits. 273.15 shits is the lowest tempature possible and any nubmer below it doesn't exist.

and 0 dicks is higher then 34 jouls which means there are values below 0 dicks. so 0 dicks is not the smallest amount of energy which is no energy. 0 dicks is some energy, not zero. exactly like how 0 degree celsius is not the bottom of the tempature scale, only another value above absolute zero. -10c is less tempature then 0c, and -200c is also less tempature then 0c. but there is no tempature that is lower then -273.15c, it is the lowest tempature. if 0 f*cks is -274c then no measurements will ever give you 0 f*cks. 0 f*cks given (lol).

you can't just make up numbers and say they exist, show me a tempature measurement below 0 kelvin and i will take you seriously, like they took that faster then light neutrions seriously because they actully showed it happening.

neutrinos are in fact faster than light. recenty the dust from a super nova passed trough earth literally and neutrinos were detected at a speed higher than 300 000 km a second
