For one there is really no point for them. i mean you have the spirt king. and then his guard followed by the 13 court guards. They are really there to make dumb decisions that get ppl killed. and werent they all killed by aizen. where do they choose these ppl lol. just a thought

The Central 46 is the judiciary authority that governs over The Soul Society instead of the King directly commanding. They're there to enforce the rules.

yea they sentence aizen only cause they couldnt kill him. really after he sentence he he can kill them again. thus being useless

i am newer to these forums, but i do enjoy the conversations and ideas i see. I have seen only 2 posts from her and yes i totally agree with you on what she points out and calls out lol.

OT: They have a purpose just like the Court/government system in todays modern society, they are the voice and will of the Leaders/King/Queens so that they dont have to see to every incident and issue at all times. As for the Characters lives in SS, they are not exactly immortal. they all will die of old age eventually if not in battle. They live longer than Humans only because they are essentially a spirit with a lot of battery life (sorry that kind of made me laugh so im leaving it XD)

All the Hogyoku ever did was instantly regenerate him and make him (with the exception of Ichigo's FGT) impervious to attacks. Show me the page where it says he stopped aging, smartass. Especially since the Hogyoku has already abandoned him :|

I didnt say they didnt age. I said they dont die from old age. The only old thing on Yamamoto was his face. His body was muscular and young. Also Yamamoto didnt have any contact with the Hogyoku(spelled wrong who cares) so we dont know if it stops aging.

He let most of his Reiatsu/Power stay Dormant for 1,000 years (his bankai power) which what i assume seems to be, if your Reiatsu isnt honed or used then it starts to decay (think of muscles, you work out enough you build them up stronger and tougher, if you stop for a while they get softer and turn to mush because the break down). So that could be used as a possible reference to how a soul ages?

maybe not, just a thought any how.
