[Discussion] Why does Moegi have Wood Release, and how illogical is it?

After reading these scans, it's understood that:

> Wood Release is made up of both Earth and Water natures
> Combining two natures at the same time is referred to as a kekkei genkai.

Now Hashirama for example, would only be able to have Wood Release if:

> His Ancestor had it
> OR it was an abnormally and it spawned itself.

It doesn't seem to be inherited easily though his descendants either, as Tsunade nor any other Senju relative has had the ability since. The only people who seem to have replicated the feat since then are:

* Yamamoto who conventionally was experimented with Hashirama cells
* Not counting Zetsu because f*ck that explanation
* Momoshiki after absorbing elemental natures from Boruto's Kote device (or the Scientists).

So my general opinion is that Moegi having Wood Release should be illogical from the standard of her not being a relative of Hashirama or a distant relative of the Senju Clan, unless this gets cleared later on. The only saving grace here is that it may be possible for her to have awakened this KKG like Hashirama, spontaneously - but, it's hard to correlate what Hashirama did with Wood Release and the type of person/character Moegi is.

So in my opinion this is somewhat illogical based on the lack of buildup for Moegi, and the lack of explanation on Hashirama's part to explain why no one else can't replicate Wood Release. I wouldn't mind if it was stated somewhere that Moegi had the potential or if she showcased strong Yang-type abilities beforehand, but there isn't any.

What are your thoughts?

The way the manga made it out to be He was an anomaly, that in itself kinda makes moegi having it pretty much an as pull. Theoretically it can be said she’s a descendent but even then none of his other descendants got it, and she’s pretty much a no name, so to give her something like that is either horrible planning, or horrible writing

The anime did say there were others in fire country with wood release maybe there's a wood release clan

Damn I'm on the team konahamaru hype train wonder what udon will get

What was people expecting for them to make these characters fodder they have to build up the hype

And it's stated there's others with wood release also there's hashi cells so not farfetched or asspull

lmao, i used to think his runny nose mean't he has ice kkg being that he always had a cold when i was a kid

I have no idea what he could possess but seeing as Moegi is out here singling out herself with Mokuton you never know!
