[Discussion] Six Paths Technique possible Genjutsu Advantage & Disadvantage....

I don't remember the full Jiraiya vs Pain fight.... So if it's mentioned there then my apologies.... Still I thought it better to make a thread and see what everyone has to say about it if it's not mentioned anywhere in the manga....

There have been discussions on whether a Rinnegan weilder can be put under Genjutsu or not i.e. Rinnegan's possible immunity to Genjutsu....

Lord Fukasaku and Lady Shima tried to use Genjutsu on Pain but Pain killed Lord Fukasaku before they could use it....

So I guess we can assume Rinnegan users can be put under Genjutsu....

Rinnegan Weilder's Opponent uses Genjutsu -
If a Rinnegan weilder is using Six Paths Technique.... And one of the path is put under a Genjutsu.... Lets say for example Human Path....

What do you think....

Only Human path will be under Genjutsu or all the paths and even the original Rinnegan weilder(Like Nagato)..??

And will the Genjutsu break if only someone strikes Human path or striking any path or the original Shinobi will break the Genjutsu..??

Rinnegan Weilder uses Genjutsu -
Also if one of the paths uses Genjutsu on the opponent.... Can opponents looking in the eyes of other paths be under Genjutsu as well..??

whichever path was put under the genjutsu will be trappped , not the original user or other paths, that happened in the pain vs jiraya fight as for a rinnegan user using genjutsu ask kishi

In Nagato's case, yes he can be put under a genjutsu.
Madara most likely can't be placed under one because he was shown to be able to switch from EMS to Rinnegan.
No, one of the paths can be under genjustu and the others will be fine but, if the user [Nagato] is placed under a genjutsu so are the six paths.

Tbh I didn't understand this part quite well but imo rinnegan doesn't give inherent immunity to any form of genjutsu.
But if it is an ocular genjutsu,all the 6 paths will be under it's effect cuz they are linked.

What you said applies for sound genjustu cuz the paths are only linked visually.They don't have linked hearing so whichever path is under the sound genjutsu will only be trapped.But in the case of ocular genjutsu,looking in the eye of one path means you're looking at all the 6 paths.I think all of them will be effected even if one of the paths is subjected to ocular genjutsu.
