Discussion: Naruto Will Help Sasuke To Become Hokage!

I believe Naruto will give up his lifetime dream & will help Sasuke to become Hokage. I really think this is what chapter 630 was trying to tell us (with the exception for the Kage's appearance). Anyways, these are my arguments to support my claim...

First of all, these were the reactions of the K11 after hearing Sasuke’s objective that he wanted to pursue the Hokage Title.

It seems everyone was stunned, & others got angry except for Naruto. But of course, Sasuke wouldn’t mind much & will continue to reach his goal no matter what odds will think.

This is when Naruto considered Itachi’s statements as to how someone can become Hokage.

Then come up with the conclusion of challenging Sasuke to the Hokage Title.

"Leave him to me" I think Naruto made up his mind & already know what to do next. Knowing Naruto's character, he'll probably do everything to help a friend more especially if it's Sasuke. He's no longer in the dark, what he can do now is to guide him the right path through Itachi's principles.

. The only difference though was Naruto is going to help Sasuke to be acknowledged by the people around him where as Hashirama failed to accomplish when Tobirama said that people of the village chose him over Madara.​

Hmm, I see what you're saying and you have a good point but something you mentioned is what denies this possibility for me. Naruto says "I'll become Hokage" after reflecting on Itachi's wisdom. Chances are, Naruto will change the village to where Sasuke will be satisfied and not have to become Hokage, maybe Sasuke can be Naruto's right hand man.

Honestly it would ruin his motive to this point. If you value Narutos vows and prosperity you can get a sense of how much he's been working to get to this point. He already has a billion people fighting for the seat as it is.

So he's just going to give it up. :|

hashirama was going to give his life for peace not just so his friend could get a job position

Sasuke is a stubborn guy, he'll do anything to accomplish his goal. Naruto might help him, he already gave up his dream when he decided to face Sasuke in a battle knowing he'll die in the latter. Kakashi also told him that he will fight Sasuke because Naruto' dream is to become hokage, something that Naruto didn't care.

I really think he will let Sasuke become the Hokage, but who knows... Naruto could also become the Shinobi alliance leader. Btw, thank's for the complement & yes I'm not planning to change my avatar for a long time.

He already gave up his Hokage dream when he decided to face Sasuke knowing he'll die. He even disregarded Kakashi's statement that he will fight Sasuke because Naruto's dream is to become Hokage. Moreover, it seems K11 aren't satisfied of Sasuke's revelation & that is when he considered Itachi's view of how to become Hokage. He even said leave him to me, foreshadowing he will help Sasuke to obtain his dream. Like I said, Sasuke is no longer in dark, all Naruto need is to guide him through the right path. This is what Hashirama failed to do, when the village considered him over Madara.

I believe that, too.

The whole point of Hashirama's flashback was to make another parallel at him and Naruto.

Naruto will achieve what Hashi could not. He will make the villagers trust Sasuke, while Hashi failed at it.

It feels so asspully to be honest. Sasuke shifting his goals, Hashirama's flashback... You can't change your main character's ideals like that in 30 chapters when you built up his goal and dreams for 600 chapters. It needs significant foreshadowing and planning and can't happen "Just because".

The main motifs and themes surround Naruto were never giving up and I think stepping aside like that kind of shits on that theme. And according to the recent chapters he has shown no interest in the slightest of giving up his goal (the sasuke thing in the iron village being the only real exception, but he reverted back to "I'm going to be hokage" right after that anyways).

I don't like the idea, but if it is foreshadowed better in the future I may buy into that.
