Kishi didn't say he planned for Sasuke to become Hokage, he planned for Sasuke to want to become Hokage. It's clear reading comprehension is lost on this forum.

I wish people would read more carefully.

It clearly says Kishi always intended for Sasuke to WANT to become Hokage, it says nothing about him succeeding.

As for the Madara part, he probably means that he has several ways for Madara to go down but can't decide which one he wants to go with. That happens often, authors will change their mind on the finale as they get near the end.

I believe the video said hes always wanted to be hokage. Doesn't matter anyways whoever becomes the hokage won't matter as it will happen at the END meaning we won't see anything go down during their reign n stuff like that. It's hardly a important piece of the story.

It's kinda like the 'happily ever after' at the end of a story book in manga instead.

Close, the video said Kishi always planned for him to want to become Hokage. But people are complaining more because it seems kinda like BS since it was never brought up before.

I'm glad Kishi recognizes that his idea for Madara has evolved into something else unexpectedly, failing to recognize characters evolving or transcending original conceptions is bad news. Look at Bleach, Aizen became so powerful that when he was defeated it made no sense and was terribly written. It's impossible to completely plan ahead when designing a story this complex, you need to be able to adapt.

Well, I think Kishi is going to have an asspull BS Ending, with this stupid cliche Ending like how they beat Obito with the Power Of Friendship and Feeling.

Also Kishi planning Sasuke to become Hokage is a load of crap, Sasuke was always from the very start to avenge anyone, guess Kishi is just an Uchiha fanboy wanting Sasuke to become the Hokage instead of Naruto.

Sasuke should've been punished for all the actions he has done U_U

It all make sense. Naruto and Sasuke has two different roads to becoming Hokages.
Naruto has a dream and wants prove to everybody his potencial.
Sasuke lived terrible life from the start so it makes sense that he want to become kage that this never would happen to anyone again.
They both are main characters so the best way for them to fight is - battle for kage title and this was Kishi idea from the very start so have any questions?
