IMO he was way too fodderized in Part I, his death wasa not questionable. I really would've liked it if his sickness caught up to him later in Part II, I think he had the potential to develop into a major supporting villain throughout part II. But that is just my opinion: what does you guys think? Tell me your thoughts, negative or positive!

He served his purpose as a character, that's more than you can say for guys like Kakuzu :p

Yes, I fully agree
To the utmost degree
Kimimaru would have been great
Too bad he got crushed by Sand weight.

He's awesome. My second favorite. I wish he was more important. :(

Negative. We already have 3 villains alive. We don't need another one. U_U
Kimmimaro was cool and his death was so screwed up, but... Bitch, stay dead. :|

Well I had expected for Edo Kimimaro to meet Jugo at the very least... but I guess not :/ Although Kishimoto did make his death better by showing how Orochimaru truly manipulates people like pawns despite their bonds with such a man.

He should've been "technically" introduced sooner but he did have a big role. He was a beast!

He's not exactly a main villain type of guy. More of a main villain hype-man, but he could've stayed till part 2.

Fodder is once again not used properly, but NO! I like him and all but he's served his purpose

I think I really feel strongly for this because Kimimaro was supposed to be the original vessel for Orochimaru. It would've been cool to see him fight Sasuke in Part II eventually out of hatred that he is almost of no value to Orochimaru. Plus, typo, his death "was" questionable.

Well Kimimaro seemed pretty brainwashed at that point. I think he knew that Orochimaru was using him all alone, but cared for Oro too much to care. He was his reason for living and what not. Kimimaro was sent to his death by leaving medical aid to get the new vessel and he knew it too. Although if he wanted to prove his worth by killing the new vessel then it might be possible but he would need to change his way of thinking a bit for even that. Still would be a cool fight scene.

By the way, isn't the term fodder here derived from the term cannon fodder or am I missing something? If I'm correct, then it's linked to the unnamed shinobi that are used in the plot to hype a named character and things of that sort. Tenten's not even fodder by this definition.
