Discussion: How do you think Sakura will handle the news of Tsunade being dead?

Ok, probably no one thought at that, but here's my question: how do you think Sakura will feel/handle the death of her master? As we know, Sakura hasn't lost anyone dear to her and we all know that she cared about her master.

Any opinions?

Please be respectful, any type of opinion who is filled with bashing, hate or anything like that towards the 2 characters will be -repped and reported.

I just want to have a nice, mature discussion here.

personally i think she will handle it the same way naruto did when he heard jiraiya die... i think she will hear it through katsuyu and maybe in the name of tsunade she might make a contract with the slugs if she hasnt done already and then head to the battlefeild as a healer to help naruto ? just a guess lol

I was curious because we've seen the relationship that Jiraya and Naruto had, but never too much about Sakura's and Tsunade one. Although we know that Sakura respected Tsunade very much and always adressed her in a polite way, unlike Jiraya and Naruto who were talking more formal, like they were relatives (well, actually they were).

It would be interesting to see a contract between the both, as we've never seen Tsunade showing Sakura how to summon or anything like that, though Katsuyu seemed to be quite close to Sakura as well, in the 3 tails arc and Pein arc.
Hopefully that if Tsunade dies, Kishimoto will develop Sakura more.

i think she will act the same way naruto did when J-man died but she will look for revenge
and then charge at madara and die right in fornt of naruto's eyes and you see where im going

It will be really nice to see that. And I'm sure she's able to learn everything even though she's not from a clan with special traits. As we've seen Sarutobi, just a normal clan, nothing special, yet she was called the God of the Shinobi.
And her chakra control is what it would grant her, because having the kind of control she has, it makes her not waste as much chakra as others and Sakura's been noted with having that kind of control, that's why Tsunade chose her to be her apprentice.

Hmm, I have to agree with you, Naruto seems more affected than anyone else. That's why I was curious in the first place about Sakura's reaction to be honest.

I see where you're going though I highly doubt she will get killed. It would be nice though to see her becoming stronger and taking on strong opponents. Tsunade's death has to have an impact over Sakura's personality and her development.

It will definitely be devastating for Sakura,emotionally. On the other hand, I see a "motivated Sakura" knocking on the front door. I am assumng that Lady Tsunade will give the ultimate sacrifise. This alone would be a major impact on achieving the "peace" they so long for.

Well, she is motivated when it comes to her friends, we have seen that throughout the manga, I wonder what kind of motivation and impact will have Tsunade's death over her. I mean, with Chiyo was different. She was there by her side all the time and she knew that it was the last thing granny Chiyo could do in order to save Gaara, she just supported and then moaned over her death. But that was Chiyo, now is Tsunade.
Hope that if Tsunade dies, as we've all predicted, it will have a big impact on her and she will get stronger, hope Kishi will finally start to develop her as a character. Compared to Team 7 she's always the one left behind.

if she was hurt badly because sasuke left i guess the hurt she will feel when tsunade dies willl be doubled or maybe tripled..

you can not compare the relationship between Naruto - Jiraiya with that between Sakura and Tsunade .

I agree with Chatte , Sakura's and Tsunade's relationship is just respect from a student to her master ..while Naruto's and Jiraiya's is far more complex than that , Jiraiya was the Itachi for Naruto , Jiraiya was like the father that Naruto never had .

frankly if you are talking about someone that will be affected emotionally by Tsunade's death ..it would be Shizune , not Sakura .

Actually, I see 2 sides here. This one which you're assuming and I see a totally changed Sakura, full of determination to get stronger as her master.
Hope it's the second one.
And about crying, yes I see her crying as Sakura is the character to show that in a shinobi world, even if emotions must be cut, there are till there.

Sasuke is still alive, but Tsunade most likely will die. Probably the loss of Tsunade will make her come more to her senses, try to get even stronger than that.

I agree to you that Shizune would be devastated by the death of Tsunade, but the big question here is Sakura's reaction as we haven't seen much of their relationship rather than just being respectful with her. So Sakura's reaction is more of a question than Shizune's.
We're certain about Shizune, heh.

Well, that's her purpose in this story, to show emotions in a world where they're forbidden.
If Tsunade dies, indeed, as I feel she will, I am really curious how Kishimoto will deal with Sakura's character.

I think that's the short version. I'm willing to bet there's less time for mourning and remeniscing during a war.

As seen from both characters, this might happen. And of course, being a war, there's not ime for mourning.
Still, hope that Kishi will show new feats and jutsus for every character.
Of course, he will put Naruto in the spotlight, that's ok but hope he doesn't forget about the others as well.

i don't really know :shrug: (i think kakahi's death would be more devastating to her) but i would like to think that for once kishi will stop killing the best characters (the old main characters) and will let tsunade live just trying to be positive

Indeed. I honestly don't want anymore superpowerfulultrajutsuofdoom...I just want to watch a good taijutsu battle with some ordinary ninjutsu thrown in the mix, but I guess those times are long gone.

He won't put Naruto in the spotlight! He'll put the Uchiha in the spotlight of course. Honestly I'm getting really sick of them.

Oh well, there'll be flashback chapters first I think.
