[discussion] Does Sakura like sasuke or naruto?

Looking over the series, especially in the beginnings arcs of shippuden, we see a new turn in sakura, she looks on more kindly to naruto, and even cries for him. She blushes as naruto flatters her and smiles at him. however all of a sudden this affection goes away after hinata's confession, and then all of a sudden she is head over heels for sasuke after he tries to kill her. So what is happening is it stress from the war, or her giving the blessing to hinata, or does she love sasuke, or does she love naruto.

I think she's conflicted. She's always loved sasuke, but she also knows that naruto has always been there which is starting to affect her.

It will always be Sasuke. During the Kage Summit arc she even lied about loving Naruto, and when trying to kill Sasuke she couldn't do it.

During the war the Iwagakura shinobi gets denied and he says the guy you love must be incredible and she instantly thinks of Sasuke.

I believe if she had loved Naruto she would have said something along the lines that she would get with Naruto during the Path Towards Radiance chapter where all the characters speak to themeselves about Naruto.

Sakura acting nice towards Naruto is because of their brother-sister like relationship that they eventually formed...and honestly it was a good sign for Sakura compared to part I where she was a jerk!

I am not sure it will work. but her being with naruto or sasuke she could figure it out. It will suck if both naruto and sasuke die at the end or we don't get pairings?

She loves Sasuke. I you go back in the manga around the 470's chapters I think, this guy Sakura is healing confesses to her but she turns him down saying she loves someone else. Then the guy says something like, that guy is so lucky or something like that and she think about Sasuke. As for Naruto and Sakura's relationship, its more of a tight brother/sister relationship, that's why she did all those things for him.

yeah that does make sense. I just still can't understand why she just started to like him, i mean the guy tried to kill her, i know girls liek the bad guy in most shows, but this is going a bit far.

Well , if you remember Pain arc, Nagato destroyed the village and then it was Sakura screaming loud " NARUTOOOOOOOOOOOOOO " ..
And then when Naruto returned after confronting Nagato.
Sakura went closer to him quickly hugged him tightly.
Sakura loves Naruto now.. Look at Tsunade, even when she loved Dan, she moved onto Jiraiya as you can see in Episode 126 when Jiraiya was leaving to find out about Pein, both of them confessed their love.
Just like that Sakura has moved on from Sasuke and loves Naruto now..

She still thinks of Sasuke as a close friend though and don't want to hurt him.

Hinata loving Naruto is different topic, because Hinata only loves Naruto... Naruto never felt the same about hinata .. So this is one sided love ..
Whereas Naruto keeps showing with his actions how much he loves Sakura

I personally really don't want naruto to get with sakura i feel like not even 6 months into the dating, and naruto would be rendered into nothing but a pile of broken bones.

She didn't mentioned whom she loved to that soldier did she? only flashback of Sasuke, which means she was simply regretting how she loved Sasuke before. And most importantly, Sakura and Naruto are the only one who have been so close to each other, missions wise, friendship wise etc, never actually saw him having any chemistry with Hinata. Remember when fighting against Orochimaru and Kabuto, Naruto took out his Kyuubi mode and Sakura started crying?

Sakura really loves him.

agred i can understand that. I know sakura loves naruto, i doubt anyone who not a fanboy can see that she loves him, but the question is simply is that love brotherly love or romantic love.

Well it could be other way around for Naruto and Hinata too...

Like,

Naruto Loves Sakura - As a couple
Sakura Loves Naruto - As a brother
Hinata Loves Naruto - As a couple
Naruto Loves Hinata - As a sister

So I don't think, there has been such thing as brotherly love between them.

No problem.

Oh and yeah it is pretty stupid when there is no pairing, Like you can take Hitman Reborn in which Tsuna loves Kyoko and Haru loves Tsuna .. In the end he rejects both and the anime ends
