Discussion - Does Orochimaru Trust Kabuto?

I think after Kabuto's attempt to kill Sasuke in the infirmirary in part one and the tenchi bridge incident really made me think if Kabuto was willing to betray Orochimaru, or if he even trusted Kabuto. What do you guys say to this?

Well, he trusted him enough to let him fully take care of him when he didn't have his arms...If Kabuto wante, he could kill him way before Sasuke's attempt.
I believe he trusted him enough to ensure to him his safety.

What did he do wrong for him not to trust him? He used his masters power and surpassed him 2 get uchiha power, and orochi saw/heard that himself.

Would you let somebody you dont trust take full care of you, someone who fully understands when you will be at your weakest? Someone who, if they desired, could take advantage of these circumstances to kill you? I think not. Kabuto is an expert mednin, he could have easily poisoned Oro if he wanted to. I dont think he cares much for him, maybe a little.. but he does trust him.

The closest person to you can be your biggest threat(See Sasuke vs Oro). So i doubt he trusts Kabuto one bit

I believe he sees Kabuto as more of a son or apprentice. He trusted Kabuto to be his protector during his weakest point and took him under wing when he was sent to kill him. To me it seems Kabuto is the one person in the world that he does trust or else Kabuto would be dead right now when he only just took his chakra back instead of Kabutos too.

Boom. Agreed.But,Orochimaru did have moments of compassion when he regained his chakra from Kabuto, and left his untouched. Likely he still views Kabuto as a tool to be used, but surprising he didn't just kill him off as he did try to usurp him in terms of being more powerful then him, while using his own abilities no less (villains have tremendous ego's too). Maybe he just pitied him; or maybe he saw Kabuto's actions as a true sign of loyalty and submission (he did in a way, carry on Orochimaru's dark ambitions).
