Am I the only one a bit disappointed by the turn in events?
First. Itachi came back from the dead and once more proves he might be the most absolute Uchiha to have ever lived, defeated Kabuto who was oh so confident that even he could have pawned Tobi. Released the Edo Tensei, sending the remaining Ressurected back to wherever the hell they came from. Basically broke up the most interesting fight the manga had going for it. Kages vs Madara. And if you ask me... He may have even changed the Sasuke we've all grown to love.
Second. What has Naruto been doing all this time against Tobi? The last we saw him. He was bleeding from the head and there Tobi was standing across the battlefield probably gloating like the cocky SOB he is. All the hype built at the begining of this war has proven to be nothing. So now that Madara will be going away, the Kage will all live... Therefore ruling out the possibility that Oonoki will die. (Was looking forward to that, I admit). Kabuto, a very promising antagonist failed against Itachi just as Orochimaru did... If you ask me, I'd say history has a funny way of repeating itself. The Edo Tensei being undone just proves the other battlefields will be calmed and boring. Leaving the main battlefield to be where Naruto is facing off against Tobi. Every remaining shinobi are headed directly there. What will they do? Gotta say... My expectations were lowered due to the nature of this war.
Anyone else feeling this way?
