but right now all i can say is WTF KISHI? WAS EVERYTHING SAID BEFORE CHAPTER 600 FILLER TALK without ANY TRUTH? I mean yeah sure you can say oh because of plot.... but doesn't it feel like this to anyone else?...

Gai is a master of taijutsu, against any nin or genjutsu user gai has the ability to match equally using his raw power and his speed. Gai is also very adept with ninjutsu using a mix of ninjutsu techniques with taijutsu styles.

Gai is way more talented than his father was so he was able to use ninjutsu. He probably didnt used it because he didnt want to hurt his fathers feelings while he was still alive.
