Have only watched the Anime but I've been hearing some manga reader that there's alot of of great intense and hype moments and not to get attach with the characters but yet not everyone is willingly to follow that procedure with some Game of Thrones shit when actuality characters are one of the main reason to get hooked up with any series.
I have mix feeling with this series and in this latest episode some great and likable and cool character such as Bulat has to die in 5 episodes. Are you really telling me that characters deaths that just got introduced is what makes the most impact in this series???
Sheele death was definitely unexpected and meaningless, we didn't get any indepth of her character with learning more about her back-story and you expect anyone to shed tears and blow our mind just for the sake of shock value who'd died in less than 6 episodes??? Sheele to me was whatever, I couldn't care less, I'm sure most people would agree with me, that the deaths right now is a joke.
Every Night raid members especially someone like Bulat had so much great potential and as such his death wasted it.
Don't get me wrong, this latest episode was handled ALOT better than Sheele because it set up perfectly for his death, and I had a feeling that Bulat is in deep trouble because this was his former general and he may have been hesitated but no there's was no hesitation at all. It was just the fact that this dude has set planned and he knew if he had failed with the water dragon he can draw his own blood with poisoned and that was such smart shit. The fight itself was so strategic and so suspenseful atleast none of this BS friendship and plot overise.
When Bulat dies and Tatsumi kneeled on him equipping the new imperial arm and cry as honor and that really hit me, It's way more plausible more realistic than seiruyu and sheele. but F***ck I'm so mad right now cause really when it's a long running series what's the point of killing off every night raid members so early???
I really appreciate that we're getting so much dark theme considering the amount of dangers we're receiving we havn't even get to the point of Esdeath considering the biggest threat and some main characters already died by the likes of her underlings...
Thats great if you think so morbidly about characters but not everyone is just expecting each episode to have a substantial character death. On the note of character deaths I get this feeling that they are just killing characters for just the shock value and nothing else of substance. Like in Game of Thrones a characters death has a pretty heavy cause and effect but here its just "lets kill this character so people will be shocked and sad".
