Disappointed in Sasuke

After reading the final fight against Naruto and Sasuke and seeing how strong and powerful both are, how does Sasuke not solo Shin right then and there when they first meet or at least let him get away? I mean the dude has EMS let alone the Rinnegan like how does he get plunked by a little kid?

This is a bigger let down than Shisui hailed as the best of his clan at the time and one of the best all time being solo'd by Danzo in 5 seconds lol.

Sasuke believed himself to be the last Uchiha alive.

He probably deals with rogues on a daily basis, and I'm sure Sasuke does not kill everu person he meets that tries to attack him willingly. Sasuke put him in his place, and then he believed he would go away, or if he tried to continue, Sasuke would off him. This is a different, more mature and understanding Sasuke.

Once he saw the Uchiha insignia, and the Sharingan, he reacted in the sense of not believing what he saw. Which is why Shin used that small chance and used plot-ficker-away-jutsu.
