[Question] Disappearing threads without warning?

As the title suggests, I have recently had 2 threads disappear without warning or any notification. One was a theory titled "Madara's Edo Tensei POSSIBLE Plot Hole". The other was addressing a troll. I don't really care that much about the latter thread, but I'm more upset about the 1st thread being deleted for basically no reason. I put alota thought into my theory and took time organizing my thoughts and even made a rough timeline for examples and what not.

I honestly don't know who to talk to about this which is why I made this thread. Anybody know why this happend? I'm very curious, and would not mind having my 1st thread brought back. Is that even possible?

That's not without saying I've had threads closed for good reason. I make a lot of controversial topics that sometimes infringe rules but the only moderator I've had a good conversation with is wesobi and tsuchi. Especially tsuchi but I won't name moderators but I have the messages saved. I thought you were supposed to be told why it was closed though.

Reasons are simple= breaking any of the forum rules. If a mod feels that your thread is causing unnecessary flames and and hate for any group it is going to be trashed. Giving reasons individually is neither necessary nor feasible. there are just too many threads and posts to take care of to keep writing personalised reasons over and over.

Not to mention how many members love to create duplicate threads just because they are too self centred and feel that there opinion is too good to post in the previous active thread on the topic. They have to have a brand new thread of their own.

It burries other threads on different topics down but they must have 18 threads counting the manga holes, another 15 to rant at it, what not.

Corruption? How nice of you! I hope you are not expecting any respect back either. Exactly what is your contribution to NB community? 1052nd thread about a plot hole? And then instead of having the simple curtsey to ask a mod why it was deleted or try to convince him why it should be restored you make another thread( the kind which is against rules) and declare them corrupt. Do you even know meaning of the word?

And all this for a theory which essentially was saying that either Kishi left a plot hole or Madara had Zetsu spy on him when he was using his tech and learned from him. Yeah the mod who removed it must have been been given virtual cookies by Madara to hide his secret from the masses.

Send them to an admin and let them know of your complaints, please. Just saving messages won't do any good nor would threatening anyone with it.

What I think is infact being said here is rather than addressing your points in an existing thread of an identical or directly linked topic, you created a brand new one entirely to scream "look at me, I actually had a thought about something." which is often the case around here.

on a side note you think the best cause of action is to make a thread as opposed to talking to a moderator of the section or a global mod about the matter, instead of publicly accusing them of something you deem unjust without being able to provide any proof that what was on the thread at the time of removal was either not a duplicate or something that could easily fit into another thread or at the time of removal contained no flame war or insulting. no... instead, let's take it public and make a scene just because I want to be heard...

Before making a thread, look at the first 3 or 4 pages. Read the other discussions. Its a forum, you're supposed to know how to read to actually be part of it and since 99,9999999% of the time you pass in the forum is reading, one would assume you'd be able to do just that.

This said, since we assume you can read and did read what you are supposed to read before making a thread (Global Rules, Disclaimer upon accepting membership, Guidelines of the section, etc) we simply move, trash, close or delete threads that are repetitive, break forum rules or have no point what so ever. Its part of our job to do so.

Your "anxiety" and "excitement" into why your thread was missing thinking it was somehow different and special from all others (everyone things that about their own threads) took the best of you and instead of waiting for a reply, you decided to make yet another pointless thread. Now, please be mindfull when you actually make a thread to see if the discussion was done already or not. Example: If you want to make a thread about how you think Obito will be swayed into going against madara, please don't. Go to the Madara or Obito threads for that. If there is already a TOp ten thread, don't make another one. Share your thoughs and opinions on the one already made. Duplicate and repetitive threads are exactly that. Nothing more.

On the topic of your thread:

We have hundreds of threads about Madara routinely and thus it was stickied- in the Naruto manga section where the new theories and spoilers are supposed to be posted.

Next time explore the forum a bit, take a look at stickies, use search bar and familiarise yourself with the forums and the rules in it before rushing to make a thread. There are pretty much standard rules for most internet forums. We try to help the users as much as we can but we cannot spoon feed and can't be there all the time for such a large membership. Members have to cooperate and at least try to be reasonable when questioning a mod action.
