I want to do a little discussion on kaguya's dimensions, some people think it's just world sized or its only a flat plain of space. Let's start, shall we?
There's two types of dimensions, Pocket dimensions are small spaces like the kamui dimension whereas your average dimension are universe sized? (Not sure about that last one)

Examples, The desert dimension can't be the only celestial object in its dimension. proof?

^^This scan obviously shows intense sunlight meaning there's a sun somewhere. Unless the world itself can generate intense sunlight which wouldn't really make any logical sense.

On the next dimension, The genesis dimension is show to have a curvature.

Hinting that these worlds within the dimension aren't just some flat space but round, worlds like our earth.

This is a bit of an assumption but im guessing the world in the gravity dimension is the largest.

^Because giant planets have huge amounts of gravity. Which is quite a feat because it can pinned down very strong shinobi like six paths sage mode Naruto & Sakura.

Though i doubt kaguya's dimensions are their own universes, they at least have to be a solar system.
also Obito describes the lava dimension as being "vast".

One final thing but a little off topic.
If kaguya can just rewrite the dimensions instantly
You must be registered for see images
Can she turn the lava dimension into ice or some other element or was this just a blatant hyperbole?

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this somewhat decent insight.

you're bringing in physics to the manga. stuff like that doesn't really work imo

its like trying to explain how the hulk transforms from banner into a being that can beat almost any character in the marvel universe.

but, for this thread i think:

Kaguya is moving through different universes. this isn't simply just "traveling through dimensions" because that doesn't make sense. she's going to a whole different universe. or at the least, using a wormhole to go to a different galaxy.

no reason for a planet she transported everyone to in a different galaxy/universe to have a sun. or 2.

i think we're making things more complex than kishi meant it to be.

True, I'll admit that but it's a bit inconsistent. BZ calls the dimensions "worlds" but dimensions are universes. eh, I guess kishi doesn't know the difference. Lol

The thing about rewriting dimensions was just a guess about what she was doing. The Ice Dimension and the Lava Dimension are different things.

The concept of "dimension" was awfully introduced to the manga.

Do you know what is dimension?

- 1x: Length
- 2x: Surface
- 3x: Volume
- 4x: The three above, but you can trace movement (Time)
- 5x: Possibilities (Various time-spaces)
...
- And so on

Manga used a misconception of the word "dimension". The correct term for this purpose is "world".
Kaguya opened wormholes to transport people through worlds.

If you want a better understanding of the Kaguya's Arc, you should analyze the story of the Norse's Yggdrasil (God Tree of Life), the holy entity that connected the holy nine worlds.

Actually a dimension is just how something can be measured. Purpleness is a Dimension.

Well, dimensions can also be interchangeable with parallel/alternate universes in fiction. The viz calls kaguyas dimensions, "time spaces".

The thing about rewriting dimensions was just a guess about what she was doing. The Ice Dimension and the Lava Dimension are different things.
Well, She did "rewrite" some things with the freezing naruto & sasuke and the ice attacking Naurto. She also lighten the gravity in the gravity dimension.

Cowthulhu45 gave a better explanation of what is a dimension: "How you measure something", it has nothing to do with worlds.

Ergo, the concept of Dimensions was awfully introduced to Narutoverse (as in the fiction works you're speaking of). And so, I insist... Kaguya opened wormholes to transport people from world to world.

ViZ probably used the word Dimension because it put a nice ring to it, but you can't explain relativity and advanced physics to a kid of 7 years old, can you? I doubt it.

So, I'll recommend you to investigate the concept of timespace and wormholes. Kamui also works in a similar manner.

Your thread is good, but the use of the concept is misleading (there are other threads touching the concept of dimensions and some users are failing to realize the true nature of what is a dimension... I'm only being sensible here, and I'm afraid that they use your thread as a motive to keep misleading the use of this concept)

Interesting , the solar systems.

Is it strange that a jutsu made of Yin and Yang (and all the bloodlines limits) creates a universe (space+time , 4D) with a sun and a moon that are related to Yin and Yang?

That conforts me into thinking that the narutoverse is "just" a creation of a great Yin/Yang master.
That conforts me into thinking that Kaguya was trying to create a new universe and failed at least 5 times , she created 5 dimensions , no life on any of them.

The difference between Kaguya's dimensions and this great Yin/Yang master dimension is simple , there is life on the master's creation , not on Kaguya's.

Can Madara be talking about this great Yin/Yang master here , when he says "a god"?

wasn't Madara talking about Kaguya being split into Hagoromo and Hamura only symbolicaly of course without even knowing it, because I am sure he thought Hagoromo was ultimate being who was split in Ashura and Indra symbolicaly again

-As you say , Madara doesn't know who he is talking about , he said he just read that.
He could be lying to manipulate Hashirama , or he could be telling the truth , and what is written could be untrue.

-He could be thinking that he is talking about Hamura and Hagoromo , given that they are twins , but not Ashura and Indra , cause they are not twins and Madara knows that.

-I understand that Kaguya "divided" into Yin and Yang , creating Hamura and Hagoromo , she may have been looking for stability.
But , I don't see how creating Hamura and Hagoromo would be the start of the creation of all things in nature.

Seing how a fodder Kaguya was , I made the hypothesis that Kaguya's jutsus are fodder jutsu compared to the "guy" who created narutoverse , she was trying to do the same things as this "guy" , creating a dimension , but she was not on the same level , and failed many times.
Kaguya's jutsu is the start of the "creation of a universe" , but she doesn't master it well.
I hate to talk about Kaguya as a god , a demon , OK , but she must be a fodder compared to the god that created all things in nature.

Unless there is Higher almighty True God of Narutoverse(maybe Kishi projected in character lol), then it is as I said

So , the action of the opposing Hagoromo and Hamura created all things in Nature , but that's not true so ,
If there is no "true god" , the scan I posted is something that is not true , it's not what you said.

how isn't that Hamura and Hagoromo actions make world stable as Demon was gone as Hamura watched over it while Hagoromo spread Ninshu so in that sense they created all things in Nature. Even Obito when talking about Nunboko sword which Hagoromo wielded, say that with this Hagoromo created the World.

You know that's not true , Hagoromo didn't create the world.
But this DNA looking sword could very well be a tool of the creator of Narutoverse.
Obito could have said part of the truth , thinking he was saying the truth.

how isn't that Hamura and Hagoromo actions make world stable as Demon was gone as Hamura watched over it while Hagoromo spread Ninshu so in that sense they created all things in Nature.

It seems that you missed that Ninshuu was a failure , ninjutsu won , war won.
After Hagoromo , there is 1000 years of bigger wars than before chakra.

Sealing Juubi mixed with Kaguya , creating the moon , would be creating all things in Nature? That doesn't go great.
They stopped the destruction of all things in nature but they didn't create all things in nature.

Right, the "One God Divided into Blah Blah Blah Things in nature" on the Uchiha stone is Talking about Hagoromo, Indra and Ashura. Not Kaguya, Hagoromo and Hamura. It says opposing forces, and Hagoromo and Hamura never opposed each other that we know about, but we all know the pointless feud over control of a failed system neither of them really cared about by Indra and Ashura.

That's just simple thinking , not truth.

I always did believe there was a literal god in NV, The pure land couldn't have just created itself. Lol

" texts often mention the concept of "dimension" when referring to or other imagined . This usage is derived from the idea that to travel to parallel/alternate universes/planes of existence one must travel in a direction/dimension besides the standard ones. In effect, the other universes/planes are just a small distance away from our own, but the distance is in a fourth (or higher) spatial (or non-spatial) dimension, not the standard ones." from the wiki but i understand you're more likely right. It'd be impractical to keep switch from one universe to another, Switching worlds is more practical. Would you propose that all of kaguya's worlds are within the same space?
