From what i thought of and saw in different threads it could be:

1.Madara was reffering to the other rinnegan eye that is currently in obito`s possession and isnt sure if it will stick to him or not because kakashi and minato might stop black zetsu and crush the eye

2.Madara was reffering to sasuke in a metaphorical way....saying that he could transform his EMS into another rinnegan....but that he isnt sure whether sasuke cooperates or has to be killed

3.Madara was reffering to the ultimate eye of the juubi that MIGHT hold the power of infinite tsukuyomi

4.Madara was reffering to his rinnegan that might disappear from his body(highly unlikely option)

which option do you think is the most plausible one?

i think it could be either first or second although i am leaning towards first

Yes....I believe I was the one who posted the pic at the end with the possibility of that eye lol. Though yes all of these are possible but as I've said I think it's the Juubis eye, but it may be too powerful to maintain.

Im inclined to believe he was talking about sasuke. I believe he meant that Hes trying to somehow unlock sasuke's rinnegan and transplant it in him specially since last chapter, he commented on how he could use sasuke's eyes for himself.

I think he's talking about Sasuke. He already mentioned that Sasuke should join him, and that it would be a waste to kill him. Then in this chapter he's talking about "nurturing" another eye and it switches right to Sasuke. Since he said "nurture" I don't think he's talking about the Rinnegan that's in Obito since that Rinnegan is already mature. He also says "I don't know if it will stick with me" which is a reference to Sasuke having goals of his own (like Obito did) and Madara not knowing if Sasuke will join his side after some convincing. I don't think he wants to take Sasuke's eyes since he assumes he's going to get the one from Obito. When he said he's "nurturing another eye" it shouldn't be taken literally he was just speaking of another Uchiha (Sasuke).

He could have also been talking about the eye in the Shinju though I like that interpretation.

I figure it is probably option #1, but I am curious... Does blood type matter when transplanting eyes in the NarutoVerse? In a corneal transplant, it is not required, since the corneas are like on top of your eyes (they are transparent "strips" of tissue over the front of the eyeball). However, a full EYE transplant? And, if it were option #2, how could Madara even have a clue about Sasuke's blood type?

According to NarutoPedia, Sasuke is AB, which means he can only give his eyes to someone else who has AB. However, we don't know Madara's blood type. (Lucky for Sasuke, his blood type lets him receive from any blood type...which is irrelevant, since Itachi is AB anyways. XD )

Free bump because I think it's the 3rd option. Madara's forehead where eye should be still is hidden, hmm...

It might be the same eye as Kaguya.
