Sasuke was in the beginning of Shippuuden a real badass and than he went crazy after his fight with Killer Bee. He began to just charge in without thinking like a crazy mofo. But now he has calmed down a bit he is stronger than ever and there is a new hidden EMS jutsu inside him waiting to be unlocked. So sasuke was at his weakest when he had MS.
Hebi Sasuke is strong than inexperience MS Sasuke which is the one who fought Bee, but experience MS Sasuke who fought Dazno would slaughter Hebi Sasuke in a fight.

Wrong, Sasuke never fired Amaterasu at Garra...he fired Blaze Release with his Ribcage Susanoo..Amaterasu is too fast, but it also takes too much Chakra and it also puts too much pain in your body while Blaze Release in the other hand doesn't take that much from you and your Chakra even though the attack is inferior to Amaterasu.

^Do you see the the black orb at the top of Sasuke's Susanoo ribcage? that's the orb Blaze Release comes from...by doing this Sasuke doesn't have to waste that much Chakra as using Amaterasu....this very genius act from Sasuke if you ask me.

Sasuke easily analyzed Izanagi(an attack he never seen in a fight) and love how people say Sasuke spams his Susanoo, but that's not the case..Sasuke used the Susanoo in a very intelligent way and that was to make Danzo waste his Izanagi..in do so Sasuke could Danzo without worrying about that Danzo may use Izanagi again

I didn't know that the enton he used against Gaara was not amaterasu.
But he could have use the amaterasu against Mei before he used Susano'o. And against Oonoki he could've used amaterasu as well because he got chakra from Zetsu. And yes, compared to Hebi Sasuke, Taka Sasuke was an idiot.
MS sasuke was weak because he did not get chance to adapt to his eyes.Obito wanted sasuke to waste MS to get Itachi eyes that why he make him fight powerful oponent with an inexperience MS.Sasuke faught Killerbee,5 kages and their guards,Danzo ,kakashi and naruto (for a short time)
