Difference in a kunai and a shurikin

Which one is deadlier? Which one easiest to throw and which one was more widely used in the manga. And any differences between the two aside from looks

Kunai is for pinpoint attacks, shuriken is for damage

I like the kunai, it's light and sharp. Where as the shuriken is heavy and deadly. It matters how you use it also

Shurikens are meant and designed to be thrown, Kunais are more for multi purpose you can throw them, use in close combat etc

Ok everyone's saying shurikin for damage. I always assumed the kunai would cause more damage considering the blade is longer therefor could puncture deeper. Bad logic?

kunai can be use for several kind of things

shuriken seems lighter but it can cut through , and It's more effective for damaging

It depends on the user.

A shuriken is more for a distraction than anything else. It's hard, but not impossible to kill with them. With a kunai, you've got the option of using it long or short range and is generally easier for inflicting more serious wounds.

I prefer kunais overall but shuriken can have their uses. I've used both (not against people though!) and the shuriken is undeniably less effective for dealing serious blows because it's not as good for penetration as a kunai at short range.

Kunai does more damage, can be thrown and can be used for close combat.

Shuriken are usually used for distractions and are almost always thrown( unless one is using giant shuriken)

I like shuriken better but kunai takes this
