Hi :hi:
I just saw a thread where people have dismissed log horizon for being the same as SAO.
Well IT IS NOT:noes:

Difference are as follows
Log Horizon has a very deep story with lot of details on the MMO side like
Guilds
Class
sub Class
Skills(wide variety)

Log Horizon gives NPC characters a whole new meaning. They have a big part in the story

Log Horizon does not have Nerve Gear and they have not briefed on how they came inside the game

Log Horizon has MAGIC :whip:

and it has a lot of logic in it

I like SAO too, but please don't ignore Log Horizon it is a wonderful anime. The first season is about to get over. Hope you guys see it.

all those details make Log Horizon a little boring,

As a Sword Art Online fan, I prefer a solo player beating the shit out of monster,
with dual reckless sword action and if there is love and friendship and harem and sandwiches involved
it makes a great combination making you stay up late night and watch the episodes over and over again,
but that's just my opinion xD

Only problem I have with this idea is that at this point... Why not just place the setting in a fantasy world?!

The MMO and former game aspects being played into LH makes it for me. The players keep in mind they are in a game. They struggle to build a lifestyle and way to persevere in the situation. Story wise it trumps going and soloing monsters while everyone wants your holographic D.

Not bashing SAO, Soloing monsters is badass, and the animation is good IMO. Just I love the aspect line from LH.

Log Horizon has an amazing setting. There's great detail to the world of Elder Tale, and that's what makes it so interesting. There may not be that much action but the way they set up the world is interesting in itself. The NPC's, the overskills, it goes on and on. On the other hand, Sword Art is filled with more action and drama but pays little attention to the MMO aspect that just happens to be there.

SAO > Log Horizon art, music and harem wise

Log Horizon > SAO in giving NPC's an actual PURPOSE for existing and made them realistic like humans and also story wise

For me, its a tie

Akatsuki is cute and I like Nyanta, the dual wielding rapier swashbuckler chef cat :3

haven't watched LH yet, but i can tell that its better than SAO,
i mean i only watched SAO for the LOLS that shit is very funny especially when Kirito put his life/honor on the line just so he can go into a honeymoon with his hoe and then when they adopted that stupid little ***** LMAO,

ah the funniest scene is when Kirito introduced Asuna in real life as Lighting Flash Asuna and talk about her power level and Guild LMAO.
