Did Zabuza Know About Yagura Being a Puppet?

This is a theory I concocted out of a mixture of background checks and insomnia, but actually when I think about it the whole theory makes a bit of sense.
So that my theory is better understood let me refresh your memories if you don't recall what made Zabuza infamous in the land of mist:
Along with a ragtag group of mercenaries, Zabuza attempted a coup (or assassination) on the fourth Mizukage, Yagura,which happened to be the jinchuuriki host of the three tailed beast. This coup unwittingly failed and placed Zabuza under 'missing-nin' and was wanted infamously throughout the water nations.
However one detail remains unclear: Why did he attempt the coup?

My theory to this is simple: Zabuza somehow knew/found out that the Mizukage was in fact being controlled by another person. I highly doubt he knew just who was behind it, but it's not outrageous to consider whether he knew that somone else was behind the Mizukage's actions, and for that reason he attempted a coup.

Thoughts? Comments? Have I missed something, or left out a detail?

It never specifically says it was Yagura was the mizukage at the time, also the coup d'eta probably happened because it was a corrupted government or some shit like that, also I don't think Yagura was a "puppet" or being controlled at all, only when Madara/Tobi was with Kisame

It's true, I can only speculate that Yagura was the Mizukage at that time, but it's not that far fetched of a speculation as he was around during the time that the initiation of the Seven Swordsmen (trials of the bloody mist, or something like that) was in effect.
Kisame himself regards Zabuza as 'young' when talking with Kakashi during the first encounter with Kisame and Itachi in Konoha (way waaaaaaay back in the chapters, right after the whole Gaara and Shukaku ordeal with the Chuunin Exams), and with that info we can assume that Madara/Tobi had control over Yagura at that point in time.
Remember: Madara/Tobi revealed himself to Kisame once he gained Samehada, so we really don't know when he gained control over Yagura.

im not sure about this, but isnt yagura the third mizukage? if im wrong please correct me thanks! but nice idea tho haha it'd make zabuza seem like quite a good guy actually haha

Actually Yagura was in fact the fourth Mizukage, which is why the theory may in fact be reality. We only know of three of the five Mizukages:
the 2nd, who was resurrected in the current war with edo tensei
the 4th, the jinchuuriki host and puppet piece of Madara/Tobi
the 5th, the current Mizukage who was litterally deemed Misukage right after the Kage summit summons
