That's very true but still.....you can clearly see where kishi kind of copied they're ideas. I mean personally I don't see anything wrong with it I just feel as though it's a bit too obvious.

He has also "borrowed" a lot from Dragon Ball and Hunter x Hunter (another manga from YYH author).

Wasn't Kishimoto's brother accused of plagiarism? I guess this trait runs in their family xd

Not sure, but plagiarism standards are different in other cultures and countries.

Shonen mangaka often lift ideas of each other, I mean Luffy is just the reincarnation of Goku, and these and classics like Dragonball and Yu Yu Hakusho would have influenced many manga, especially when they are as good as those too. I wish Naruto was even half as good though, but it isn't IMO.

Because he likes to eat he's a reincarnation of Goku? :shrug:

Oh, also - there's a main character who never shuts his mouth, acts really tough and refuses to give up no matter how bleak the odds - and then beats the odds. Except Yusuke's a badass and Naruto, well, isn't.
