Do you think that the Hokages are being too hard on themselves?
In chapter 626-627 the Hokages admitted that they made many mistakes which has lead to the situation now. So I'm asking do you think that the Hokages were too hard on themselves?
First lets take a look at their alleged mistakes and failures:
-Hashirama
-Blames himself for creating the darkness that Itachi and many other Konoha shinobi had to endure.
-Blames himself for creating this situation with Madara.
-Likely also blames himself for allowing Madara to survive.
-Tobirama
-Well apparently this mother****** doesn't see any wrong in his actions and talked about Hashirama's downfalls so i will allow you to interpret his mistakes.
-Hiruzen
-Claims that he was the most indulgent of all.
-Blames himself for not being able to follow Tobirama's actions, thus leaving it to Danzo.
-Because he left it to Danzo, he blamed himself for the Uchiha Massacre being allowed.
-Claims that in all of his spell as Hokage, everything he did was a failure.
And lastly, Minato
-Blames himself for dying during the Kyuubi attack.
-Feels guilty for sealing the nine tails into Naruto.
-Feels like he did not fulfill Hiruzen's expectations as the fourth Hokage.
-Feels guilty for not being there to aid Kakashi, Obito and Rin which lead to Obito being crushed by the boulder and Rin throwing herself in front of Kakashi's chidori.
So now that we have looked at their pasts and mistakes, do you think that the Hokages are being too hard on themselves for their mistakes or do you think that they should definitely take responsibility and admit to their downfalls?
