I actually really enjoyed gurens character, the crystal style was unique and interesting, and it was cool seeing naruto really work on ninja fundamentals like mixing chakra w/ wind nature with gamakichi

Even though it was too long an arc and I thought it was exaggerated but still it's pleasant and I loved it. The whole concept and the story was really nice...
