The fights were total crap, mosly because of the ridiculous inconsistencies with the power scaling.
Nnoitra is clearly much stronger than Grimmjow, but Ichigo was almost equal with Grimmjow even though he has a bankai and a hollow mask on, yet somehow Kenpachi is able to beat the crap out of Nnoitra even though Kenpachi lost to shikai Ichigo.
So Shikai Ichigo > Kenpachi > Nnoitra > Bankai and Hollow Mask Ichigo?
How defaq does that make a shred of sense in any universe whatsoever, fictional or not.
I understand that in martial arts/combat styles make fights, but how defaq does Kenpachi's style give him an edge over Nnoitra when his style is basically the same as Ichigo's (no kido, no hakuda, just zanjusu, high spiritual pressure, and brute force).
