Interesting. And that's with the inflation of movie tickets. Even with the higher prices of the Nolan Batman, it still grossed less than Spiderman.

Makes sense though. Begins, although amazing and in the same quality of the other, just wasn't as big. Spidey was huge and right at the start of big superhero films.
