In Islam, it is agreed upon that devils may come and sit on you when you're sleeping. I remember Grandpa telling me this : If in the middle of the night , you feel like your'e being watched or you get a feeling that someone's sitting on you, then there's a devil that has interest in you , devil, a.k.a (in Islam) jin.
And no, im not trolling you with this , it's completely true, but a family member experienced THE EXACT same situation as you, the whole getting-sat-upon and stuff...yeah i should go pray namaaz cuz i'm freaked out ..ahehe
