Did you ever think Kabuto would become this strong?

After the Sannin's had their Kuchiyose battle in Part 1, and it showed Kabuto being able to fight at 80% capactiy after Tsunade severed his nerve track (Or something like that) I knew he was way more advanced than I thought, but I never thought he was going to become as powerful as he did, especially after Sasuke took out Orochimaru, kabuto just stood there and seemed to be in shock ...you know...now that i think about it, if Sasuke would have taken Kabuto out right then and there it would have saved a lot of trouble.

I thought he would end up dying for Orochimaru in some arc... It was the shocker when we saw Kabuto meet with the Sasuke retrieval team and having implanted Orochimaru's cells

actually i was shocked :yeah: never thought that he will have such a big role in the story. thought that he will just stay as orochimaru's minion until death nothing more.

never liked kabuto but, i have to admit that it was an interesting twist (unexpected).

Oro could have gained Kabuto's power whenever he wanted, but he wanted to upgrade a stronger body first. Kabuto chose to augment his own mediocre body, but imagine if he'd added Sharingan\Senju cells. Oro was just more patient and content to learn HOW to unlock power, Kabuto was anxious to steal Oro's research and use it.

I was surprised when Kabuto revealed he had SM,I thought he was going to be the behind the scenes type of villian but I liked how he had some power behind his intellect.

Kabuto was impressive before the war took place in the battlefield. Later on, Kabuto started to become a lunatic, because Kabuto was simply alone with no purpose. Kabuto was trying to walk on the footsteps of Orochimaru. The truth of the matter is that it didn't suit Kabuto. Kabuto would've became an outstanding villain only if he managed to control himself. Power became his form of greed, which didn't become a pretty sight. Itachi proved that Kabuto has no personality, goals, ambitions without Orochimaru. So to compensate for his inability to live his own life. Kabuto thought that becoming Orochimaru would grant him independence. Sadly, Kabuto was only deceiving himself in the end.

Yes, since that conversation with Oro in the chuunin exams and the battle against the sennin... and later when he injected the cells(part II... for sure then...

i never thought that kabuto would play such a big part in the story and moreover stand against itachi and sasuke i always thought he would be killed by someone as easily as oro died by sasuke hands.
it was an interesting turn of events.
