Did you believe Neji and Choji Diead?

When you first read the manga when they fought the sound Ninjas? Choji looked pretty dead and so did Neji. I thought Choji died when first read it. Also do you wish one of Shikamarus team memebers died or no. I think at least 1 or 2 should have to bring emotion but I loved the arc.

I thought Neji died, but I didn't think Choji died. The two gaping holes in Neji's torso, as well as that as far as we know no one came to help him for like an hour, helped.

I thought Choji died because he took all those pills and then when he layed on the tree and the light hit him and a butterfly landed on his shoulder i was like nooooo lol and then we saw shikamaru turning back and looked sad... I thought he was dead i was sad until we saw him recover. Neji too I was like damn Neji was awesome. I was worried about everyone lol

I thought Choji was gonna bite the dust due to the supposedly "killing nature" of the red pill. Look, when people have knowledge about something and you know that when ingested, it kills them, then it's supposed to kill him! Why was he the exception? Never really went into detail. It's kinda why I make fun of super-serious Shounin manga.

Neji I thought would pull through. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how he lost to Naruto in the Chuunin exams, but he wasn't hurt enough to warrant a surefire death.
