Never said otherwise, but I just gave you proof that at least one of them survived (the other one joining akatsuki is not in the manga), while you cannot prove that the rest died there. Them being dead means nothing, they are ninjas, they are human and it was a war period, very high chances of them dying regardless of Dai.
OT: Since Dai went against the fat guy and the latter survived, only to be killed by Kisame himself, that would make it quite clear that Kisame wasn't refering to Dai as one of the "two"
