[Question] Did Vivi Get Luffy's Message

When we last saw Vivi she promised that if she ever met the straw hats again that she would go with them as a friend

So she has been honorary crew since, appearing in all the :straw hats + animal" cover stories along with the official crew something she is the only character to do while not being aboard the going sunny herself. I don't know if she'll ever actually be crew but hopefully she will

But in the chapter 3D2Y We see her doing the same thing as the official crew once again, reading about luffy's message to get stronger and then meet up.

Do you think Vivi spent those two years getting stronger as well?

That Message by Luffy was meant for crew mates who were on Sabaody and heard him talk about meeting after 3 days.
Vivi not being personally present there, would not have known the cryptic key, but as a former strawhat member would have found the tattoo and Luffy's behaviour confusing nonetheless.

So this post just reminded me that its rumored that a former enemy will become a crew member and Vivi started as a BW member fighting the SHs and became an honorary member so she might join the crew this arc not sure about her subordinates though

OT: It would make sense if Oda showed her reading the news paper and planed her return to the crew that she would have to get stronger but how strong is the question I think she'll be an addition to the weak trio depending on her personality if she's a coward like those three then yeah if not then I don't know

Vivi sure as hell isn't a coward. She was willing to fight Baroque Works on her own, and would have done so if Luffy hadn't made her realize they would fight with her. I think it's more likely that she noticed the 3D2Y tattoo, understanding what it meant after the events of Dressrosa, and is going to rejoin or become a member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet at the very least.

If she does join, the Straw Hats would, objectively, have no problem with her joining. Six of the nine already consider her a member, because of the X-mark and what it symbolizes. She holds no grudge or anger towards Robin, as was noted in the Post-Enies arc, and I think she would get along with Franky and Brook well. The biggest problem I'm seeing with her joining is that the role she would fill is, currently, undetermined. Also, the panties question.

I don't doubt the idea of her having learned a trade, but it's that, for the most part, there's a role that is needed to be filled when they get a new crew member. We don't know what role it would be for Vivi, or why that role is suddenly important.

well for the most part they are secure there isnt a job they need at all bar and hold an informant. Information is the most useful tool they could have. Andwith vivi's past as well as her connections she could have done that as a trade.
