Given his portrayal in the war, Tobirama is definitely a legendary tier shinobi. We know Kinkaku and Ginkakau floored him and the Nidaime Raikage at a meeting, but that was an ambush so I'm willing to look past it.

However, I feel as though with Tobirama's feats and portrayal lately, he should've wrecked the 20 ninja from the Kinkaku Squad. He may only be 1 man, but I feel he should've survived that attack. He's a champion with FTG, his Suiton ripped through the Senju like butter, he was the only one astute enough with Naruto to see Senjutsu's effectiveness against Juubito, and he's shown to be an impressive sensor.

So how did a guy this strong go down against 20 shinobi when his brother was solo'ing the strongest Bijuu and Madara at the same time. There had to be some foul play afoot unless the Cloud was filled to the brim with Kage level shinobi all on one team. How could they possibly tag him while he's teleporting around at blinding speed?

just don't compare minato's teleporting abilities with his. Minato's teleporting abilities are greater. What makes minato's teleporting skills greater is his reaction time. It's as if he slows down time and space. Minato can use teleporting in so many ways. i have only seen tobirama use it in two ways.

We have seen all the strong elite ninjas that existed in naruto series, thanks to the edo kabuto performed. He picked all the strongest ninjas and if none of those 20 ninjas were picked by kabuto then I don't know what to think about them. I am sorry if those elite ninjas who killed tobirama were strong then it would have been worth showing them in the war in Edo version. I am pretty sure kabuto would have love to revive them specially if they were able to defeat tobirama. But it didn't happened so they are not that special... let's not forget tobirama had sarotobi danzo and co. Plus he had the ability to do edo so he would have easily match those 20 ninjas. There was no need to run or be sacrificed

Please don't use Kabuto's edo tensei as an excuse. He only brought back some of the legends of history of Naruto. Most weren't even brought back.

Yea Anbu are elite in current system.. no denying it. But you do know they focus on assassination..


However, current level of shinobi are fodder compared to the older generation.. You simply need to look at the Hokages..

I'm sorry, that there are people in the naruto-verse that were stronger than the ones who have been given screen time..

It's possible that a young 3rd raikage was part of the group(as someone above me said) That might explain it, as that guy is a beast who's almost impossible to kill.(tanked a rasenshuriken with minimal damage, and fought 10000 shinobis for 3 days straight) That, combined with 19 other shinobis, and you have a recipe for disaster for Tobirama.

Tobirama teabagged Izuna who was = to MS Madara who had been fighting the Senju and Hashirama for quite a while. They were already famous warriors at that point.

I find it hard to believe Kumo had 20 ninja that powerful waiting around otherwise they could've demolished Konoha and everyone else in the war.
