Did Tobirama have Madara marked?

I'm confused as to how Hiraishingiri works...

From the scan it just seemed like an extremely fast shunshin but I'm guessing Tobirama through a kunai somewhere near Madara's vicinity prior to the attack (although there was no marked kunai shown in the manga)
