Did Tobi viz Obito time travel to fight Narutos father?

I have a small doubt regarding this Obito(or Tobi), if he was Kakashis classmate, then did he time travel to fight the 1st - Narutos father - when Naruto was just born? because he would be a kid for Narutos father , but in anime he looked like Narutos fathers age.

According to story the age group for him does not match - thats what I feel.

some people grow up faster than other...i am at full size now and i am 21 yrs old and i know a boy who is 14 and just as tall as me^^ besides obito was already taller than kakashi when they were kids..so maybe thats the reason why tobi was as tall as minato when they fought some time later..besides there was another tobi with long hair(manipulating mizukage and talking to itachi) my theory is that THIS long haired tobi was madara...but well lets just wait some more weels^^ we will know the whole story soon enough...

Well it was shown that Madara and Obito know each other right. Madara could have told Obito all the things in the past about his battle with the first blah blah blah, so that When Obito pretended to be Madara he would have all the right facts.

For the whole Obito vs Minato. I would say Obito was 15-16 years old which could make him an adult in the Naruto Universe. Sasuke and Neji are still young but look like adults and are roughly Kakashi's height.

All these things are possible. Another idea I had was "Tobi" is a symbol that anyone who believes in the moon eye plan can follow. "Tobi" is an Uchiha that follows that plan He could have been multipul Uchiha's throughout history from a certain branch of the clan and Obito is apart of it.
--Obito's grandfather to father to him could have all had the same MS those allowing them all be "Tobi" when they need to.
-But thats just a fun idea
