my thing is, if he had minato as a teacher and knew all about his jutsu how did he get hit by FTG when minato fought him during the 9 tails attack on the village. It would seem if the masked man was really obito how did he lose that fight with minato with the advantage/upper hand?

no he is obito the chapter is obito uchiha and there are alot of evidences he is obito think a little bit he made all of this because kakashi broke his promise remeber when he said i want to make a world that heroes=kakashi dont make pitfull excuses infront of graves=rin thats why i want to put the world in infinite tsukyumi read chapters carefully it was obvious that he was obito if read the manga well

great chapter, i laugh in the faces of those that pretended as if they know it all and disqualified Obito as a tobi candidate. Lol
now i forsee 3 or 4 more chapters of what happened to Obito, remember what happened during the Kabuto vs Uchiha brothers fight, 4 boring weeks of Kabuto's history that no ome was interested in.

a lot of people are taking this whole tobi thing to serious its people's right not too agree that this guy is not the real obito just like some of you already thought it was him in the first place... my problem is that it makes no freaking sense the age factor, the timeline, and his history and knowledge of the leaf since he was only 13 when he died... if you been following naruto since 1999 then you know how kishimoto gets down as far as twist cliffhangers and the final outcome. this man is a genius and also one of the greatest manga storytellers of our time.. don't believe anything in naruto until the final cut because kishimoto loves to mind***k his auidence please believe me when i tell you this beware because everthing is not always what it seems.. just remember this saying "the biggest trick the devil ever pull over people eyes was making people believe he did not exist" kishi your a true genius
i thank you for the apology and i think that madara and obito was working together. if not then i think that obito used transformation jutsu to look like madara behind the mask so when he showed it to kisame and itachi they truly believed that it was madara.

I truly think that this is from Kakashi's point of view and he wishes for Obito to be alive. After all he was pretty close to his best friend.
This being said he is assuming it is Obito.
After all most the Uchiha look the same (Not meant to be racist) and he did just take a rasengan to the face.

Talk about pride, huh? Kishi has never made sense with half of the mangas he writes until later, when he decides to pop out some answers.
Okay, do you all remember when Sasuke resurrected Orochimaru because he wanted to visit "the one who knows everything"? Who is this mysterious new character in the Naruto world and if he/she knows everything, then they must have been around since the beginning. Now, could this man/woman have found Obito? It's possible. Could this man/woman have brain-washed Obito like "Tobi" did to Sasuke? That is also possible. Kishi has proved time and time again that anything is possible and yet all of you dismiss clarities beyond belief.
This "one who knows everything" is the biggest plot-hole in Naruto and could have easily influenced Obito. It is said the Tobi gave the rinnegan to Nagato and that it couldn't be Obito because Obito is younger than Nagato, but could it be possible that the person who gave the Rinnegan to OBITO in the first place, is this mysterious character that Sasuke has gone to see? VERY possible.
Zetsu's ability is regeneration and it is likely that, like Orochimaru and his experimentations, Obito was experimented on to regenerate his face with the Zetsu DNA. This also explains why after being burnt by Amaterasu, he regenerated his arm's tissue. So, we know that OBITO could be infused with Zetsu DNA. Is it also possible that Zetsu's DNA, like stem cell research, could also influence his age? Yes, but people are basing his age off of the fight with the 4th when he summoned the Nine-Tails because he "looked the same". Please don't try trolling with height because during the fight, height could not possibly be distinguished. The mysterious man (keep in mind) could have also taught Obito whatever it was that he needed to know if in fact he is the one that "knows" everything.

Well i liked the chapter just cuz it made me laugh hahaah the tobi is obito its a theory since 2005+ xD even my bro that is not 10 back then was 7 said thi otbi is obito and kishi fell for that hahahahha anyway maybe izuna will be on obitos body but really what would someone like izuna want a crushed body of a no name kid uchiha xD?
