Mai and friends had an accident with the dragon balls I believe.

Super Sayain immediately was prevented probably for same reasons that captain ginyu couldn't harness the full power of gokus body.

SS Rose' is the color of the ki of the gods.

Also there seems to be a real cmyk centered design for the new series.

Those seem more like personal theories than actual explanations because Mai and company being transformed into kids in the current timeline doesn't explain how it happened in the future timeline. And yes I know rose is a reference to the pink but I'm more so looking nice for an official explanation as to why his hair turned pink and he was far more powerful than super Saiyan blue. Also, Black DID harness Gokus full power minus super Saiyan blue power being that trunks said Blacks full power was stronger than focus ss3 form. What you posted is mainly just speculation I'm looking for concrete explanation which so far hasn't been provided.

Its speculated the pilaf gang wished it shortly before the androids rampage where Goku and Piccolo end up dying.

Super Saiyan Rose IS Black's regular super saiyan but he is a god using his god ki so it automatically induces a Super Saiyan Blue mode which makes sense because as stated, blue is goku/vegeta's super saiyan form using god ki.

And rose once again is a altered ssblue form. the color choice is primarily to distinguish from the real goku easily. but for an in verse explanation its just zamasu's corrupted ki altering the ssblue transformation goku's body is capable of (super saiyan form using god ki)

and it may very well be zamasu's corrupted ki that boosts blacks transformation or the fact that hes an actual god, a prodigy among kaioshins which could boost this mortal transformation that uses god ki. makes sense? also its believed the goku zamasu took over is from a later time then the goku we know so hes naturally stronger.

1. Stealing a body doesnt unlock its full potential right away. It apparently can happen that you need to adapt to the body and learn to unlock its potential.
We have also seen this with Ginyu stealing Goku his body in DBZ.

2. Mai is an adult in (future) Trunks timeline.
In the mainstory timeline, something with the dragonballs caused Mai her body to be turned to that of a kid, even though her mind is not that of a kid.

3. Super SSJ rose is this color because Zamasu a god, is in a non-god Goku his body.
Therefore his color is different.

Zamasu said that he was curious how mortals looked clad in god ki.
He said this when he saw Vegeta transform into SSJblue.
Meaning Godki doesnt look the same on gods and mortals.

Samasu his aura was always blackpurlish so that probably gave birth to his SSJ transformation color being the Roseblackish color.
It was likely inspired by the black rose (you can google that).
Which we see in both Zamasu his name (Black Goku) and in his color Rose.
