Did Sasuke purchase a new sword after his fight with Deidara?

I just watched Sasuke vs. Deidara and noticed he never got his sword back, but he had an identical sword for his fight with Itachi later on.

His sword should have been destroyed in Deidara's final explosion, so he either bought a new one or this is a plot hole.

He can summon his sword to him I believe(not sure if he can or not), didn't he loose it during his battle with itachi as well?

I don't remember him ever summoning his sword, but even if he could... Well, check my spoiler tag. Am I being too careful with spoilers?

He did lose his sword in the last moments of his fight with Itachi when it bounced off Susano'o, but I assumed Tobi picked it up for him after he lost consciousness.

Isn't that the anime? I guess he gets it back off panel or something.

Yes it is the anime. He can't have gone to get it off panel because it should have been blown up

I suppose one possible explanation is that he had an extra sword of the same kind stored away in a scroll. I'm a little skeptical of him buying one because he didn't seem to be carrying very much money, and swords aren't cheap.

I highly doubt he ever bought another sword. I'm sure it's a specific, one of a kind sword and during off panels or something someone would grab it, if not himself.
Unless it acted like a weapon that's summoned. Like he could just bring it up whenever and when it's gone for awhile, just go back?
Just throwing out ideas.

Sasuke has lost his sword in every major battle he's used it in.

He either retrieves it off screen, or he just has a large stock of them.

What if he can smmon it like he did with the shurikkens when he fought Itachi
