Did Sasuke lose the final fight due to plot?

Pain was supposed to be the baddest dude in the series but then as usual, Naruto uses someone else's power to win and everyone loses their shit about how powerful he is and how he "solo's" despite having someone helping him.

You can't ****ing solo with a tailed beast helping you strategize and giving you chakra, it's pathetic that Sasuke still managed to hang in there and use the chidori and Sharingan without a tailed beast giving him chakra while Naruto needed help almost every second of the way.

The only thing Sasuke lost is his tnj, the fight has been a draw.

Sasuke had the advantage throughout the fight. Only reason Naruto ended up on top was TNJ, PNJ and Main character no jutsu.

That's completely doubtful. At best Sasuke has chakra comparable to a Tailed Beast. The same would go for Naruto himself, but then you have to account for Kurama as well which doubles that.

Of course Sasuke lost to plot. He could've ended the whole fight within a second with a single Genjutsu.

How?

We saw how easily he put 9 pokemon under one genjutsu.

We saw how he entered Naruto mind to stop Kurama from leaking out in early part 2

Naruto had never break out of a genjutsu before in the manga!

So what stopping him from puting Naruto and Kurama under a genjutsu at the same time?


So yes, Plot-no-jutsu needed Sasuke to lose for the sake of Naruto's character development!

Kishi was forced to give Naruto the upper hand just because he's the main character. that's my point. Sasuke logically beats Naruto, but Kishi didn't want that because in the end, the idiot main character has to become "badass" in the end. Realistically, Sasuke outclasses Naruto.

The fact is Sasuke tried his hardest and couldn't defeat Naruto.

Plot is the reason Sasuke didn't learn SM. Plot is the reason Naruto never developed a skilled taijutsu to go with his shadow clones or exponentially increasing his training time by using multi shadow clones.

Kishi didn't force Naruto the upperhand. He set them out as equals then fans like us dissected their abilities under a microscope and came up with the conclusion that the fight wasn't logical.
