Look at the full released chapter. All you did was post the first page, then you went to the last one where there's randomly a sword. If you look at the chapter you see Sasuke is explaining it(Idk Japanese but you can tell by the pictures) . You missed 98% of what happened with the sword.

Sasuke was going for the Limbo Madara. He can see it but can't hurt it unless he uses chakra from the sage in the attack.

Yeah I think Madz used his limbo to block Naruto and Sasuke tried to attack it, but his sword passed through it

Actually from the translation we can see attacks Based on SO6P chakra/power has effect on it , because the Limbo's shadow right arm was hurted from Naruto's black rod .

My point was that the sword in Madara's chest could not have had any connection to his shadow because Sasuke 's sword would pass straight through Madara's limbo

To be honest it is too OP, and there seems to be something more to it because Sasuke had Naruto aim at him and then suddenly they were attacking Madara. There is either a page missing or Sasuke just pulled a technique similar to the FTG body swap

I figured out the random sword attack from Sasuke.

The first attack was because he saw the Limbo version getting ready to attack Naruto. Thus he threw the sword. However he was completely off.

The sword gets knocked away behind Naruto. And Sasuke realizes his mistake. He mistook Limbo Madara for the real Madara and threw the sword prematurely. He is then able to see both Madara and Limbo Madara separately.

Sasuke then moves to where his sword has fallen, and throws it at Madara once more. However this time, the two Madara's are overlapping and Sasuke lands his first blow.

It wasn't time manipulation or genjutsu. Sasuke merely has the ability to see through Madara' Limbo. The same way Naruto can sense it.
