[Discussion] Did sakazuki use awakening?

In the battle vs whitebeard didn't he turn the ground into magma and make magma come from nowhere? Also if you don't think he used his awakening yet, what do you think it is and looks like?

It's highly possible he and aokiji used their awakenings against each other which is why both Halfs of punk hazard correspond with their devil fruit to this day

Maybe that is simply they used their attacks so much that weather forcibly changes in punk hazard bcoz what i think is logia's awakening is that they don't get hurt by a haki, which exactly same happened to trebol when luffy kicked him.....

No trebol was not a logia, he was a paramecia who covered himself in goo so that you weren't hitting his real body at all. due to how skinny he was, he made himself look woder with the goo and so if you hit him with punched in those spots they went right through him, But perhaps that first part is correct although I believe it was just due to akainus superior haki.

I think not. I want to believe that logias cant have awakenings because they are already op AF. Its better that only paramecias and zoan users can have awakenings to counter logias, giving reason as to why logias arent that powerful in the new world where veteran pirates and marines roam.

I've always wondered about this too, it seems weird that Oda and his editors will make something this inconsistent in the same arc.

Well what about when law used radio knife on Trebol. He seemed pretty confident about sticking himself back together. I don't see how he could do that if he was a Parmesia. I mean I know he's a Parmesia but it just doesn't make sense

Trebol is a Logia. If he was a Paramecia then he would have been killed when Usopp bisected him.

I always thought he was a logia and Luffy was using haki but since Trebol's body was slim he only hit the element he created around him :\
