Did obito really help itachi get rid of the uchiha clan?

I was thinking about this and it doesn't really seem to make sense. During the fight with sasuke and itachi, sasuke was asking itachi about the masked man that helped itachi kill off his whole clan. Sasuke said he wanted to kill the masked man after he killed itachi and itachi said it was madara and that's who obito was impersonating at the time. Idk if their gonna bring it up later on but I don't think that the masked man was either onito or madara. All the masks that obito wore had only one eye hole in them and also his hair was totally different as well. Also it makes me wonder why in the world would obito want to help itachi kill off the whole uchiha clan and since danzo was kinda behind the whole thing so he could get himself a huge supply of sharingan and then obito helped sasuke kill danzo so I doubt it was him but idk why itachi would tell sasuke that it was him. If anyone knows the answer to this question or has any idea plz let me know

I know he used izinagi once and it showed in obitos little hide out that he had quite a bit of sharingans. But that doesn't explain the anbu mask with 2 eye holes and the hair that was totally different and the different voice as well and if it really was obito like itachi said then I doubt that it would be as trivial and it would have just shown that it was obito with the same hair, mask and voice instead of it just looking like a totally different person

Madara (tobi) wanted to get revenge on uchiha clan so thats why he agreed
