...act as a surveillance in Konoha for the Kyubi / Uchiha massacre etc?


I've had crazy theories about Obito being Tobi years ago. One of those was Obito faking his death...and give Kakashi his sharingan to act as a 'surveillance-eye' so that he can do his research and plan shit up away from everyone else thinking that he's dead.

Obito thinks Kakashi is a strong ninja so he chose him, and what a coincidence he just lost an eye during that time.

Obito: I'll become your eye. See the future for you!!!


He probably activated his kamui right before the boulder almost crashed his other side of the body.


He might be an uchiha spy working for Madara. Thats why he was always late. see? and Madara obviously knows him.

I also noticed the old Obito looks just like Zetsu. Ya?

rereading the chapter and some post it seems likely that maybe Rin died and therefore Kakashi failed Obitos promise. And that has something to do with it.
